   So they started to talk about the NEED of one MURUGAN Temple for their surrounding villages.
    This subject attracted people of public interest     as it shall be a   permanent  Usage for ages.

  The decision was appreciated and the Mount received this name
KARUMALAI  and the Deity
     KANDHASAMI.
  
   Mr Pachiappa Gounder ,
Who was popular for his Bone Setting Service , gracefully arranged for a Well  ,
  at the foot of the Mount.

  Mr Nadesa Udayar and his relations commenced the construction work on the Mount ,
  Using their Masonry Skill and richness ; and utilized the help came through the public.

  The Main Temple for MURUGAN on  the top most levelled peak , and a Temple for Ganesha
  at the entrance feet of the Mount ,
were finished.
   The steps , exactly 81 in number ,
were mostly by bricks work  and were not neatly finished at the earlier stage.
